Are you a moving company?

No, we are not a moving company. We are a move management service who will coordinate and manage all aspects of your move. We will recommend and/or provide you with a list of several of the best in moving companies. The final decisions will be yours.

Where do I start?

A free initial consultation is a great start. Your Tender Transition’s Manager will assess your specific needs with you, outlining each step to be taken during the downsizing and moving process.

Can I pack some of my own things?

Definitely. You can pack as much or as little as you would like.
Remember to keep the boxes uniform in size and labelled. This helps to maximize the efficiency of the move.


I am moving to a Retirement Residence and I would like some things shipped to my children who live in different provinces/countries, do you provide this service?

Yes we do. We will pack and manage all aspects of a long distance move. We will also assist in locating a similar service to help you on the other end.


How do I know what furniture will fit in my new home?

A Tender Transition’s Move Manager will help you develop a floor plan to help you decide what will fit in the new space and what will not. Always taking into consideration, what you would really love to live with.


When should I start thinking of downsizing?

Anyone considering a move to a smaller home or residence needs to start downsizing immediately. It is a long and tedious process that needs to be done prior to the move.
